Well I got some work done on the truck yesterday, little odds and ends.

Welded in the top of the core support again. Put the fenders back on. Put the hood back on (happy the HEI dizzy clears! No cowl hood!). Also installed the holley 4 barrel carb.

There is a lot of stuff left to do before this baby runs. Wire it up, connect the master cylinder for clutch to the slave, plumb vacuum and fuel lines, oil and temp. sensors, tach, new gauges, new driveshaft, new engine crossmember, modify tranny crossmember, etc.

No idea how I'm going to mount the radiator yet. The mustang rad is huge.

It's been a while since I updated. I got married in June, so now that the wedding and honeymoon are done, I can finally start getting some work done on the truck again.

I bought a 10" air filter from Advanced. It fit perfect on the Holley carb and still clears the hood and the HEI distributor!

Fabricated an engine crossmember because the mustang pan hung down right in the middle of the stock one. I realize the angles aren't exactly 45*. I did that on purpose to give me more room away from the pan.

The T5 transmission worked perfect. I was able to use the stock tranny crossmember in the stock location. All I had to do was slot the holes on the top where the mount sits.

And the tailshaft / shifter area almost lined up perfect. I'll have to cut the floor out a little bit, but not bad!

Looking good! Is that a stock b2000 trans mount that was used on the t5?
kovz   +1y

Yes it's the stock B2200 transmission crossmember for a manual tranny. I just had to slot the holes on the top for the mount to fit.

Very cool, I'm trying to gether all the info I can to cover all the little quirks before doing my own swap. Did you get you hydraulic clutch conversion kit from Car Shop?
