I can do $85 shipped. I just need to find a box large enough though.

Opinions please... looking for which style of gas cap/door to use on the bed.

Latch Style Flip: Would be mounted vertically on the top step.
" target="_blank
Pros for the latch style cap - The chrome would match the door handles and relocated tailgate handle well. Easier installation. Cheaper cost.
Cons - Stand out more.

Flush mounted with door (watch video tab): Would be welded in flush on the top sheet.

Pros for the flush mounted door - cleaner and hidden look.
Cons - Cost more, longer installation process to weld it in flush and use body filler.

I like the flush mount

I agree, I would go with the fush mount one. Just my taste though

Go flush or go home! I don't care for the latch style one at all and the flush setup is cool. The cost and extra work would be worth it to me. It's coming along nicely, how are those shears holding up?

Thanks for your input guys. I am leaning towards the flush mount one as well. I'll probably decide by the weekend. Payday is Friday anyways, lol.

The Harbor Freight electric sheers worked perfect for this project. They honestly saved me so much time and a mess from all the dust of using a cutoff wheel. They went through the 16ga fine too. Best $40 I could have spent.

Well I finally got my rearend back from the shop. I dropped it off in December to be narrowed 1.5" (width) so the wheels would not rub the bedsides when aired out. I also had an RX7 differential installed which came out of an 85' GSL-SE with limited slip. This should help give me a little more traction instead of one-wheelie-peelies. I don't want to destroy it though so I'm going to try not to beat on it it too hard.

I also finished seam sealing the bed floor.

Next steps are to do the brake lines on the rear, install the rearend on the truck, and have some friends over to help me pull the bed so I can paint the underside of it. As soon as the bed is back on, I think she's about ready to drop off at the painters for body work and paint. Oh yeah, I need to install the flush mount gas cap on the bedfloor too.

I have a stock B2200 diff for sale if anyone needs it.
I also have one from an 83' RX7 with LSD.

Looks good. What kind of seam sealer did u use?

Thanks. It's called Fusor 803EZ. I got it from the local auto paint store. Very easy to use with a caulking gun.
