Crazy fucker cutting into that fresh paint job! It looks like it turned out good. Ive always wanted to do a rag top but I too think I enjoy seeing them on other's vehicles better than I would my own.

Part of it withair saw, part of it with electric sheers. I brought it to the body shop that painted it to help me install the new sunroof so we wouldn't mess up the new paint. I trusted my body man knowing if it got messed up he would fix it lol.

Still sketchy.. Lol. I wouldn't tear Into that beautiful truck after all the work you've put Into it.

Looks good though!

I only wish I could see it in person!

nice build man, i much prefer the look of glass over the rag on there. i think a rag belongs on a long opening where you couldnt get the open effect with glass (crew or ext cab setups). the 5.0L/t5 combo sitting on my shop floor came out of a 84 stang, glad i kept the mounts, looks like ill be using them when i get into my swap. thanks for sharing

Thanks Fred and Dealwithit!

Well, it was a good weekend with Lil Red. I got it inspected and gave it a nice bath, then took it to a weekly cruise-in on Saturday and a car show on Sunday that was about 45 minutes away (25 miles). That was the furthest trip with it yet since the engine swap. It ran great and no issues to note. I heard nothing but compliments all weekend.

Looks great Mike!! I like the glass sunroof better than the rag top.

Curious, were you the only Mazda B?

Thanks Dan. Yep, I was the only Mazda B at both shows. They are few and far between around here.

Thanks guys.

A friend of mine took some cool pictures of the truck yesterday at a local show. I'm thinking I need to print one of these for the garage wall!
