Truck came out nice but I don't like the color. It looked good on the 5x7 spray out card. We just switched form Sikkens to Standox paint about a month ago and the sikkens formula for this color is a blue with gold flip and this one is more of a purpleish blue with a gold flip. It looks fine I'm just being too picky.

Heading to the shop in a little bit to start putting it back together and bring it home. Will have more pics later

It's all painted but I will be repainting it again in 2 weeks. The color looks ok inside but in the sunlight the blue looks very purple. I refuse to drive a purple truck! So the plan is sand it down and shoot 2-3 more coats of just gold pearl on top and that should help tone down the purpleish color and still have a nice gold flip.

On a better note I started putting the interior back in and that is all going well. Got the new carpet, rear seats and lower side panels in. Going to work on the center console and front seats in later tonight. Here's a few pics

Truck looks good man.. too bad, you can kind of see the purple on corners.. I feel you on the purple, I have been working on getting rid of it on my truck.

So the new color I'm going with is the same Alfa Romero color just the yellower variant. It is more of a gold with a blue flip. I would rather drive a gold truck with a blue flip than a purple truck with a gold flip. Standox rep paid for the paint last time but I'll have to pay for it all this time. At this point I don't really care it just needs to be done right so I'm happy with it.
