well after sellin my last b, ive been regretting it ever sense (project hack job)
so im getting a new truck.

pickin the truck up tuesday...
400$ std cab. runs and drives, has a webber carb as well.
body is in pretty good shape along with paint, little rust on roll pan area (behind bumper) and a dent on the fender by the fuel fill door...

rear main leaks bad on it,
so for starters im gonna pull the motor, put new rod bearings and main bearings, with new rings, then replace every gasket on the motor...if i can find one i might put an auto trans in it while im at it...

as for plans,,,

stock bed floor raised

nothin too crazy, jus gonna be clean and simple, and most of all, reliable, cause its gonna be a daily driver like my last one was (project hack job)

If you are close to Ga I will trade you my auto trans, It was rebuilt last year, although I have yet to buy a trans cooler, I just really want to switch to manual. I thought it would be cool to have an auto trans but I am going crazy with it...

well, kinda disapointed with overall condition of truck, but i guess thats what you get when all you do is get picture messages before you drive 100mi to get it.... but its workable, paid 400$ and got it home, runs and drives, the webber def needs adjusted, and am going to rebuild the motor just to start fresh, needs some random interior stuff, (just to replace worn stuff)

did order the engine rebuild kit today though.

but gotta buddie @ a local junk yard, so i get killer deals on stuff...

found a dawg down there, pulled grille, door pulls,d/s corner light,hot cold knob/assy, little plastic cap thing above ac switch,and chrome weather strip shit for on the door by the window.... and best of all= this one hadda weber and wheels and tires i got off of it as well! . . .
the truck i bought came with a weber but wouldnt idol for shit i messed with it and got it to run, but still ran like shit, i know diesels/fuel injected shit, lol not carbs. anyways, i walked out of the jy for 60$, webber and wheels and tires and all the little shit,

i swapped my "new" weber onto the truck after i cleaned it up, then BAM she runs alot better! still needs diald in, but its a starting point. gonna rebuild the motor here in the next week or so, and clean all the random screw stuffed into a cut off vacume line with accual vacume caps, and wire tuck it and static drop it then drive it while i buy all my bag shit,

oh and it really needs a damn bumper.

oh, and i gotta gauge cluster from a b2600i that only has 129k miles and has a tac. lol so im down from 270k just over night!!
