nice looking parts man when ya think you will get started on installing them

I would recommend against milling the head more than necessary, the head can't be milled too much, you may need to source another head in the future if you (g*d forbid) pop a gasket. The gain on these trucks is minimal by bumping the compression alone.

about the bags, jealous as f*ck man! Gonna be slick!

well, got the motor out, cleaned up rebuilt, egr blocked off,and 130a ford alt installed then re installed and running. runs awesom!

motor did show signs of nearly 300k for sure, all rods and mains were worn to brass, tons of carbon on the exhaust valves and pistons, and #4 piston had a broken compression ring and the ring groove was a bit wollowed out, (being a mechanic for a living this next part is going to sound horrible) but once we got the new rings in the wallowed out part wasnt to bad, and the cylinder wasnt damaged, so i just re used that piston.

did have the head milled a bit, nothing major, just making sure it was good and flat, lapped all the valves and all seal great, new plugs, new coil.

every gaket on motor new and now shes nice and clean and runs super smooth.
not bad for 10hrs of work eh. haha

Good work, at the rate I go it's gonna take me a year to rebuild my engine even longer to bag it.

BTW please keep this truck your almost as bad as Toddluck for finishing and keeping cars.
