I got the 3'' drop blocks from autozone on my 86 longbed and just re-indexed the torsion bars up front, not tuckin tires but not alot of wheel gap for stock size wheel an tires. Looks better in my eyes and I dont bottom out on anything like driveways. Have bounced the bump stops a couple times but still rides good.

hmm is a 3" block the smallest you can get? it seems like mabe a 2" would be perfect for what im looking for but who knows. do you have any pics of your truck with the 3"?

Haha! You got the bumpers off the same 2600i I took parts from. That's why the handles were missing, I got them . I recognized it by the small ding on the right side of your rear bumper. Your truck is looking good man.

I have 3" blocks that I recently put on my truck. Go to "Project Premix" and you will see pictures of it with a YZ450F on the bed. It is still very usable and won't bottom very easy (I cut about 1/2" from the bump stops). I will be removing them soon to put 4" blocks, I want it a little lower. They are DJM brand and I will sell it to will cheap if you're interested. I can even help you putting them on neighbor

There are plenty of people on this site that have thrown in some 3 inch blocks in the back and cranked there torsions down a bit or re-indexed them and had a very nice riding truck that would still haul a dirt bike or quad or whatever. Combine that with shaving the bumpstops down an inch or so and its even better. If you dont want to do the torsions you can always get a set of 2.5 inch drop spindles for the front and have a completely factory riding suspension....A common misconception is that lowered vehicles ride poorly. Its just like anything else. A cheaply built engine will run poorly while a properly built engine will run great. Do the suspension properly and you can have great results.
