You're jumping through hoops to do something that someone else should have done. I told you in voice and then in IRC to bitch and whinge until you get a clean small installer for it. Instead you tried to build it yourself from source on Windows! There is no guarantee that it'll even work once you build it. Do it. Make a racket.

Alternatively, boot Linux up on something, then it'll "just work".

Fred.

It's been a while.
I can't remember if you're the first to have dibs on my head tf, but if there are no more then sure

My ute MOVES!!!!!!
I put it on a tow truck and brought it out to my new place, so now I don't have to go to work to work on my ute, that'll help.
My ute STOPS!!!!!!
Not like it needs them but I have a brake booster solution so I have brakes.

Have to wire the barn for some more power and light so I can see what I'm doing, not that it'll make much difference to these penis fingers, they do as they please and ignore all motive commands.
Have a 250 watt merc vapor lamp and 1160 watts of 5 foot fluro's.

Hope you've all been well.
I'll try to get around and see what ya'll have been up too.

Gday from across the ditch, very cool build man. I'm planing on the KIA swap, but handy knowing telstars have the same motor, cause no-one wants them here either lol.
Hope you get your ecu sorted, that's some serrious diy engine management.

Yep, still plugging away.
And hello to our trans Tasman neighbor.

This weekend I decided I'm a better lover than mechanic and that I needed a lovers seat.

The trick to building this is having no tools.
Comfy as.
Since The ute now had a bare bottom, I gave it a wash.

And pulled the fuel pump, which felt rather heavy coming out.... Tada!!!! It's bloody electric! Lol

Which is handy as I can fudge the hp version into where the lp one sat.

Thing is that I'd have to change the wiring to be like the low pressure pump which has an earth in the tank and a positive connection also in the tank. Worked fine for the lp pump, the hp pump has both earth and positive lead coming in through the cap with no connections in the tank. Any thoughts?

I'm ultra paranoid about connections in the tank... 100% OEM setup or external pump IMO.

Yeah I thought once I saw it "Hey, I could have used this as a lifter pump!"
After never actually paying any attention to the pump because I always had something else to tinker with.
Though I do remember thinking once, "Where's the fuel pump?"
Should have followed up that stray thought.
So I suppose I should drill a hole and put a bung in and run the power right out of it just to be on the safe side
That's how I was leaning though there should be no drama with how it was..... should..... but that's a shitty epitaph.

Definitely DON'T do it that way!
Find a quality bulkhead connector.
