Sorry, I just noticed the "quote" option for replying to a post.

Thanks 1HotDawg,

I found mazdabscene has been very slow lately. I just checked again and all the images do load. In fact I attempted to load some photos from home last night and it was so slow i gave up. I guess it's a good thing, tons of people must be accessing the site. BTW, great looking truck. I love the white, clean look.

mmmmm orion. gotta love an old school '100' watt amp. i hadda hcca2.100 for a while, jus never got around to putting it on anything

i like that front bumper, where did it come from?

It was included with the body kit. And yes, I love the old school Orion. It is 0.5 ohm stable. I'm running 3 subs per bridged side. So it ends up being 1.33 ohm load per side. Very stable. I can't wait to get it back going again. I found new way to set the gain using an O Scope and I'm dying to try it out.

Man I haven't busted my o scope out in a while. The old hcca amps were badass for their time. Have you looked up having bigger power wire soldered to the board?

As far as cutting the frame to make them fit, I don't think you have to, but I did. Quite a bit actually. But I needed to to get huge lift, due to being bodies and on 22s

see, the hcca's were before my time (im 23) b
ut the guy im good with that does all my enclosures and schools me on everything told me that the ole 2.100hcca was capible of the better part of 10k watts. and would pull clear down to like .25ohm half way stabilly.

i needa find me a b.a amp for my two precision power pro model flat piston 12s...

im thinkin at least 3k watts for the two... maybe an AQ or sundown, or soundstream something or the other...

but anyways.

damn you wanna trade my shitty oem bumper for that ?? hahahahaha

So the electric window kit didn't work so well.
It just didn't have enough power do crank the windows up and down.
I tried lubricating everything, which made it better, but still couldn't handle it. In the motors defense, the passenger window has always been a bear to roll up and down.

I was just about to give up on the entire electric window idea unit I did find Tuna's post that saved my sanity. It inspired me to head to the local junkyard, pull a window regulator out of a 97 Accord, get it back to garage, tear it apart, connect it to the B2200 window regulator, connect power..... and find out the wires in the motor housing were damaged.... Dang it...

After searching Craigslist I found another Accord regulator for $20 bucks.
I'll pick it up this weekend and start on it again. Thank god for other people in this world with an obsession for Mazda trucks...
