Out of curiosity how is that a smart move? The spindle is so short and arms are short as well. You'll be lucky to get 7 inches of travel. Then you'll have to narrow the track width 3-4 inches and then u still haven't solved the rack issue cuz its far too wide. Use a yota of Mazda clip and narrow it. At least u can narrow the drag link easist enough and the geometry is far better for air ride then the m2... You can get 9-11 inches of travel out of either. Just my humble .02 and it'll be bout a grand cheaper lol

They make the front end conversion already for mini trucks so no biggy there, and since I'm not bagging it then travel isn't so much a issue either. The mustang 2 suspension is a classic easy swap for most rods and since im looking mainly for a nice ride that can handle the 600hp 302 then its a solid choice to make.

600 what now?
I'm going to karate chop something in celebration, perhaps some high kicks to burn off some enthusiasm.
Pity I haven't studied karate...meh, she'll be right.

I didn't know u weren't bagging it sorry about that but if ur gunna put that kinda power and spend that kinda money there are still far better handling ifs kits out there then keeping the geometry of the cheapest car Ford built at the time.. get something designed for your aplication it might cost a lil more but if ur gunna spend 4-7k on the motor don't skimp out in the suspension.... Either way u do go I can't wait to see a crazy motor in a lil truck!!!! Keep us updated!

I was mainly referring to any kind of front linkage swap. With the way these are setup from the factory. The centerlink on the steering is going to hit almost any motor v6-v8 that some people may plan on doing.

With that on most v8s if you do that, you are looking at a $600 investment on a front sump kit.
