Back Story
-----------
I had seen this truck for years in a couple places locally but never on the road. I always wanted it and it eventually came up for sale at a local garage. I drove by on my way to work and told them to take the for sale sign out of the window. I went on to work and called the wife, told her to go down and get it. She got there and they were gonna sell it to another person who was on the way with the money...Smartly, the wife knew how bad that I wanted the truck so she jerked out the check book and said name your price...1300.00 later and the truck was mine...with all it's flaws

Alright, another update. Got a plan nailed down for the back half of the truck. Going for an under the axle frame, 4 link, custom tail light in frame, custom gussets, blah blah blah....i used crayon to draw it out, so no I won't be posting my measurements and blueprints hahah. But here's where I'm starting.

I started by removing the bolts in the gas filler door.

Then, I moved to the 4 bed bolts that were actually in the truck, there are six though. I just took a few shots for sake of doing it.

Then I pulled the tails and labeled the harness and removed the bed. No I didn't get pics, camera was being a turd. After the bed came off, I started by labeling and color coding plug ins.

In this picture, what the heck is that brake thing????

Then, I started figuring out the hoses for the gas tank that leaks...

The fuel lines all labeled and cut away from the tank.

Where it's at right now. I have to cut two welds with a sawzall and then cut the tubing that holds that ghetto skid plate that the tank is actually bolted to so I can get the gas tank out. Then it's just ditch the exhaust and I'll be able to start cleaning up where I intend to put my initial cross member that the frame will be built off of.

that thing that you are pointing at is a safety feature. if your truck flips over a check ball blocks the flow of fuel to your carb.

thanks emjay! Fuel cell should allow me to delete that
