I suppose you could. That's putting more stress on fuses though. Then, if you blow that fuse, you lose everything connected to it.

Fdugn, for cleaning up on your posts, you can remove your positive cable, unclamp the part your alt wires etc are put into on the battery post clamp, it should have two small bolts on top with nuts fitted in the bottom, make sure you don't back it out all the way, and you can slip your other wires onto this part of your battery posts clamp and not have to worry about cluttering up the post, i will pit pictures up of mine with my amp and foglights connected this way just none atm.
