Since the truck has sat for over a year i am doing more than just the head gasket to fix it and get it running. while pulling the motor i found what i believe to have been the overall cause of my trucks demise. one of the copper colored pipes running through the firewall was pinched almost completely shut which was drastically cutting off coolant circulation. luckily i was able to reshape it back to round so i don't have to replace it. on the docket for parts is all new gaskets and seals for the whole engine, new clutch since the old one was toasted, new flywheel, new starter, new thermostat, new piston rings, and a bunch of other random new parts. Now to just find some time to do it all.

Well i finally got it back up and running! with the help of some of my awesome friends my truck is back on the road for the first time in a year and a half. feels great to get to drive it again. Here are some random pictures i took throughout the build process.
