I had an apexi timer on my old R32, pretty... Meh worthy, the blitz FATT is better, got mine from Redline in penrose (Auckland if you're not local), much better, counts up and down depending on the thrashing you give it, using the 12v input I think it's was, also has 1/4 mile timer built in and voltage display, all in flashy blue color.
If you're in Auckland keep an eye out for Mike with a RB powered ute, he has converted to the facelift model front to clear the fan.
