So, an update.
Me and the girly went for a day trip the other day. I live on the southern point of Vancouver Island (Victoria), and if you want to go up island the only route is over a rather large mountain called the Malahat. Anyways, we were planning to drive about 200km up island to spend the day checking out the scenery and what not. Made it about half way and the truck started to struggle. When the auto would kick into 3rd it would slow right down to about 45km/h, so I had to keep pulling over to let people pass (we were on the highway). It was throttle pulsing/ shaking around something serious. We limped the rest of the way with the problem kinda intermittent. When we were all finished up sight seeing, the problem got worse on the way back. About 30km before we had to start the climb back over the Malahat, it was really bad and there was no way it was going to make it. The "Hat" is a single lane in some spots, rock wall on one side and the median on the other so there would be no where to pull over. So, I made the decision to call BCAA and get them to tow it home.
Only scrapped the back bumper a little bit when he pulled it up haha
Changed the fuel filter because my uncle said that was the problem with his b22. Seems okay just driving around town, but I think I'll try to duplicate the situation and see if shes good. Anyone have this problem before? Seems like it wasn't getting enough gas or enough air
