So this is the second mazda I've owned and probably my last. I picked it up about 2 months ago and I have been slowly replacing things that needed to get done.

A little info on the truck..
Year: 1987
Make/Model: Mazda B2000 Cab Plus
Just over 200k on the odometer.
New water pump
New timing belt
New radiator
Truck is static dropped with aftermarket lower control arms, and mono leafed with blocks in the rear.
Rollin on some Chevy Z71 wheels that have been bored out.
Tires are 205/45/16s need to be replaced soon.

Future mods/updates:
Remove egr system (doing that today)
Head gasket (mine leaks out oil by #4 cyl.)
Tires
Upper/lower ball joints
Tie rods

Trying to get the motor set up for something awesome, just need to do a little more research on it.

Didn't get the egr tubes blocked off. Its fine though, I found the plugs that I want to use and ill be ordering them when I get off of work today along with the last few items I need to start my head gasket job.

that thing looks rough, but pretty solid. You have any plans for a roll pan or a rear bumper? I could plant a few ideas for a motor swap in your mind for ya, I got plenty that I would love to do one day (but probably won't get around to it.)

I have a few different ideas for motor swaps rangin from the Kia sportage to a 302HO with a t5, or the modular 4.6 4v dohc motor.

The truck looks better in person, the paint is a two tone primer, the spots that look like bondo are actually the original color of the truck. There's one spot on the rear part of the bed that has a dent. Other than that the body is really strait.

Fabed up a egr block off ate for the exhaust manifold yesterday. Just got the measurements down and cut it out. Going to finish that on Monday. Also ordering my tube plugs this weekend so I can completely delete those egr tubes.

Friday ill be pulling out the two that are mounted on the lower part of the manifold. Now that I have a camera on my phone that takes decent pics, ill take some of the removal of the tubes and reinstall process of the plate.

Almost have everything in line for my electric fan conversion, once that's finished ill be collecting the parts I need for my efi swap.

well i got the two EGR tubes that run to the lower half of the manifold blocked off today, pics to come later (just have to upload them).

also set my idle speed, was running around 1500 rpm, since i dont have a tach i had to hook it up to our gas analyzer machine to read the RPMs.

Pretty please with the way everthing turned out. The engine bat definitely looks less cluttered.

first thing is on the list is shocks and tires...picking up the shocks this weekend.

Hey man would you be interested in making another of those block off plates? I'd be willing to buy it from ya since I don't have the materials required to make a block off. Also on that note would you be willing to make an egr valve block off plate? Truck looks good btw.

Yeah man I can do that for you. I made an EGR plate a while back, that was out if some aluminum, worked great.

On another not i got my shocks today. Those will be going on tomorrow.

Got the new shocks on today. Turns out 3 of the 4 shocks were blown out, and my front passenger side was missing a bushing causing a rattling noise. I used the Monroe shocks from O'Reillys with a lifetime warrante. Here's what I used

Front:
1985 Isuzu pick up 4x4 shocks

Rear:
1993 Nissan Quest

Uncompressed they are shorter than the factory mazda shocks. My truck rides so good now. And what's amazing is that they bolt right up to the truck with no modification necessary.

I also replaced the PCV grommet. Mine was definitely worn out.
