dope build...does the truck run better with the EGR delete? Whats the purpose with it?

Thanks bro, much appreciated.

Since the truck is old enough I don't need to get it emissions tested to update my registration, I have decided to delete the egr tubes on the exhaust manifold. So pretty much what I am doing is adding a header. If you put on the pacesetter it deletes these tubes anyway, so I'm just creating the same effect with out spending 200+ on the header and new exhaust. The stock manifold doesn't flow as well as the header, but achieves the same effect. Plus it removes some of the clutter from the engine bay and allows for cooler air to enter the motor vs the recirculated exhaust.

got my plugs ordered up for my manifold. should be in some time next week. and also bought some wiper blades. nothing too crazy for updates today...

on another note, im looking for the shift boots that cover the hole in the body, the cover that goes over the trans and the rubber matt lookin one that's attached to the shifter housing that holds the aesthetic outter boot... anyone know where I can get these?

Why did you go with isuzu and nissan for shocks? Do they not make specific for the b2?

The stock Mazda shocks aren't short enough to provide decent travel when lowered. The Nissan and izusu shocks provide a much better ride

What he said man. If you look at the side by side comparison pictures, the Isuzu shocks are shorter uncompressed, and since my truck is lowered, I need the shorter shocks for a better ride. Not to mention they won't blow out on me.

" target="_blank this link is also in the post and they are solid on service and may this help on the boot for the shifter.

Nice man, thanks for that, definitely going to help me out.

I made a junk yard run yesterday to see if I could snag up some odds and ends that I needed, and I found a shifter that was shortened a couple inches, either that or it's a short shifter. Also snagged up a center console that's in a lot better shape that mine was in. Some chrome tail light trim, a donor instrument cluster so I can make my custom gauge bezel, and some interior trim pieces.

After installing the shift lever I definitely think its a short throw because the shift travel has def been cut down. With the shift boot that came with it the road noise that was coming through that hole where the shifter connects to the trans has been damn near eliminated and I'm not smelling gear oil so I am happy. Ill snap some pics tomorrow of the set up and post em up.

time to do a little update here I suppose.

I have almost all of my bag parts, I found a set of wheels that I WAS going to use but not I have decided to sell them since they will not fit the theme of the truck what so ever. I also installed a bench seat. so here is an updated list of things to come for the truck

im going to start bagging the truck at the end of the month after I get all moved in to my new place. once the truck is bagged and able tp move around I am going to finish collecting the parts that I need to start my efi swap with boost.

pics are to come when its not so shitty outside and everything isn't all packed up in my storage unit.
