B2600i door panels relocated the pockets to get my old speaker pods to fit... just enough room to close the door still and I didn't have to cut a huge hole in the panel. just a small speaker wire hole

Put power windows in too but I have to finish wiring it all up.

More pics to come!

2600i door panels installed, relocated pockets to rear and fit my old speaker pods on - without cutting a big hole in the panel and got the new dash pad in. power windows in and mostly wired.

Well here is my makeshift sub setup for my standard cab haha. "My rear slider window is my Blow Through yo!"

I couldnt stand having the single 10 smashed in between the seats so I had to figure out another option...

Didn't have time to make a custom center console so this is my best option for now, Luckily the truck bed interior makes it sit perfectly with the window. Sounds decent until I can get around to building the center console.

Yes I know they are upside down but I took them from my other car and the box was flipped. Don't judge me

Ahhh i'm diggin what ya saying now, that does work very well. like that idea, i'm going thru safelite once i save the money to buy a sliding rearwindow with their warranty even though mine isn't. but that looks killer, how is it held down? I'm planning on mounting my subs against my backseat brackets, but i may have to sand them down a bit beforehand just to level it out, still have original bolts, may be long enough idk yet. but will be running the bolt from inside the sub box down through the bracket with a locknut and washer on the bottom. just one on each side not into all four brackets, unless i wanna sacrifice leg room and mount it against rear of the sub with other two brackets, but very doubtfull i need all room i can get lol. any ideas? or think just the two brackets will suffice?

My box is pretty heavy I don't even have it mounted down its just sitting in there. Granted the bed interior is heavily padded plus carpet on carpet adds enough friction to keep it solidly planted in its place. Haven't taken it off road since I put them in though. I think I'll just leave it how it is and if I hit up any trails I'll just use my ratchet straps to hold it down temporarily. This is more of a temporary thing until I can get around to building a proper box/console... but I do have another Kid on the way so it might be a more permanent setup than I am hoping.

In addition the 105amp Chevy alternator I recently put in is helping with the extra boom I have now. Plus I also just did HID's, LED bar and Power windows so I'm glad I have more amperage to provide to them. I seem to put out enough with the new alternator that my dash lights don't dim anymore (head lights are HID so no more dimming there either!) even with everything running on high, lights, sound system, heater, etc. no more power starvation!!! A huge improvement over the stock POS 55amp alt.

In my old truck (when I lived in LA county, I just used a Locking Hasp on the box for easy removal with the other side just pushed against the wall of the cab.

This is a Locking Hasp (I used 4 bolts and Lockwashers through the floor the key portion just bolts through the box).

Well I was able to dig up a couple of pics before the big crash when my truck was mostly one color.
I'm gonna Chronologically picture dump a bunch here. Sorry if there are some repeats.

when I got her in '03 from my uncle 76,000mi (he was the original owner)

Did the body work and yota bumper. I had an all metal upper and lower yota bumper that I welded the two pieces together and made some extensions to line up with the fender. Shaved the fender and antennae holes. Torsions indexed UP. This is before the 2" body lift.

Then some rattle can art work (I was in High School, SKA was big in orange county CA)

Real paint job but right after I got it painted a guy merged into my front fender/bumper. I was pissed! You can see where a guy changed lanes into me though all the primer on the front driver side.

The red flag on the back is from my uncles old prop plane and it said 'remove before flight' on the other side of it.

Then this happened rear ended into the car in front of me

Nice, i want a bubble hood on mine and the front brushguard haha. like the way it turned out sharp ass truck man!
spacemonkee23   +1y

Thanks xXChromeGhostXx. I was looking for a bubble hood and a brush guard for a long time, pretty much since I bought it, making monthly trips to the JY for too long ... and with some stroke of luck when I hit the JY after the crash there was a 2600i there (no brush guard), haven't seen one in a JY around here or down where I used to live ever before or even since then! Well at least not in useable shape that is. Just got lucky I guess.

As far as the brush guard is concerned I had to use a Toyota one bec I have a body lift and the bumper bolts were blocked by the front core support. Mazda brush guard would have taken too much to make fit with the body lift. Stock pre tacoma mini truck brush guards will bolt right up to the frame tow hook mounts on the mazda and bolt through the front of the stock bumper almost a perfect fit. But again my truck is body lifted so it took some grinding around the bumper area to get it to fit nicely. I am happy with it at the moment.

Possible FE3 swap in the distant future, I only have 35,000 miles on my 2.2 rebuild with a ported & polished 2.0 head (for the adjustable rockers) its decently quick even with all the weight I added, I did some other upgrades to give it a little more power over the years too. Definitely quicker than my buddy's 22R Toyota, but you know since you own a B...they are not FAST.

Thanks for checking it out.
