jacked it up and put it on stands to do the ball joint flip and all 4 have torn boots and the such...guess ill be replacing those at the same time
coloradolowlife   +1y
ball joint flip is done...having some spacers made to make up half the distance of a drop spindle so i can still run my stock wheels...i just bought new tires so im gonna run these till they need to be replaced....and throw on something better...im thinking gmc yukon wheels...i heard that the offset is just about right.....next order at hand...c-notch...and quick it should start snowing here pretty soon

thank you, im doing a small ish notch today...ill post pics tonight...im in mid swing of it now
coloradolowlife   +1y
so i ended up going with a smaller notch then i could have gone for...but its going to stay static im pretty sure...its to rumpled to be a show queen...its just gonna ride a hole lot better now...5"0f added clearance and raised the upper shock mounts 3" as well so i could run quest shocks and a stock bumpstop on the axle with a mono leaf and 2 or 3" blocks.

plates welded in on one side...ill be welding in the otherside and cutting out the middle tomorrow

a bit more beefy shock mounts...raised 3" ...i know they are gonna stick through the bed..im gonna have to make some covers or something for them

Not too shabby

i still have to drive it, but with the truck on the ground and me on it(simulating bed weight the stock shocks are maxed out....i have a 3 " block and 1 leaf removed ..and i think its just about right...cant go much lower static here in colorado...roads suck! lol. Dont mind the crossmember position in the first few pics.. realized late in the day...duh....im gonna slam the f out of that thing the first placement was an inch higher...but it wasnt gonna be enough...raised it to the top of the notch instead....Had some fun mounting stuff..ive got some alimunum diamond plate i plan on making a cover out of...bed is cut out to give clearance for the notch and the relocated shock tops....hoping i can get some of the homies together so i can put the bed back on......contemplateing a mono leaf but i need to make some sheilds first.
