picked up a couple viair 400 compressors and a 5g tank from a buddy the other day. As well met a few guys from a local mini club called freaks of nature...one of them has a couple bags for me, dont know what size or brand yet....gotta buy lines,manifold and such still but hopefully be bagging my truck soon

been junkyarding and such...so ive gathered a few things, chrome door handles,mirrors, a better hood, some mx3 seats (i think thats where i found them at least) and some other stuff....trying to finish out some bodywork and painting it baby blue soonish i hope. I need to cut out the wheels wells and such up front soon but torn on how i want to do it. Anyways too many words..heres pics.

oh yeah mymemoryloss thank you i am very happy to be back working i some how missed that post or something and never responded im not sure regardless thank you and its good being able to make a little progress ...still gathering air parts, bags etc....at least the pile is getting bigger lol

Nice work man! How did you do the grill conversion tho I've done the head light conversions before but never the grill and I really like it more info would be greatly appreciated! thanks.

Well, there is a small amount of sheet metal work to do on the bumper to start with. Next is narrowing the whole front facia, i left the center grill intact and narrowed the bezel a bit. The corners will have to be trimmed to allow flex to conform to the shape of the body, some heat molding is a really good idea for this as well. Trimming the lenses for the corner lights may be neccisary depending on how wide you make the bezel and grill.... i didnt take enough pics unfortuanetly....... deleteing the oval was a whole different story, you will need a second center grill to patch out of... crappy part is the only way ive found to get the center grill that you need is by buying the whole front end...for the mesh/bezel i used a 2002 ranger sport same as 4x4 i think. Its quite the process, If you go for it ide love to see how someone else did it ...their is still about 30% of a mazda grill still on the front end lol...mostly structural a little bit shows
