Wow, it's been a while.

Since last post, mostly just been enjoying it and doing minor maintenance.

changed my rad fluid, it was running dark brown sludge. I was worried it was oil mix, but apparently its just rust? I had to flush it around 10 times til it cleared up. It was mighty nasty. I'm guessing PO ran water only for a few years. Back to green.

Still need to change transmission/diff fluid. Brakes arent great, but I'm guessing they never were. Replaced pads/drums around and flushed it. I'm hoping i just have some air bubbles in my line and it'll clear up. It's still blowin a bit of blue smoke, and has misc electrical gremlins to sort out, but nothing minor.

picked up a stock clock at a junkyard a month ago, figured there'd be a pigtail to plug in, but apparently not, or i cant find it.

anyone happen to have a wiring diagram for the clock? I'm sure i can find some appropriate wires to splice it into.

Also, throwing around idea of building my own tonneau cover, since it has snaps for it already in place, but odds of me finding one that'll fit nowadays seems unlikely.

put in a bedliner so i can feel alright using it for mulch n stuff.

yea, nothing too exciting here.

the clock connects to wiring directly...no need to splice it....most of the 83/4 years didnt have them installed so just had a bit of black tape covering the connection.....all that I have seen have a blue connecter for plug. does not matter if its the digital or analog clock, same connecter.

newer pics?....always good to have another 84 out on the road.....as these are getting to be fewer and fewer!....took me 3 years to find mine, and have had to replace so many things on it.....and body isnt as good a shape as I was wanting.....but had to start someplace I guess!...lol

hey! there was a clock connector taped up there. thanks!

hooked up clock, but while it lights up, looks like sadly the clock is not functioning. I'll have to open er up, I assume its supposed to work when car is off, else whats the point.

bummer. still looks nice though.

pic from this morning.
