I got to work on the bed some more today, got it down to a total of 6.5" on the body drop. I finished in the dark so Pics suck, I will take more in the daylight when I start to weld it in place.

Getting it tacked down, after flipping it over there is quite a bit more cutting to do but here is a shot of where the final resting place of the bed floor is

So your plan is to have 4x4 features on a slammed B? Sounds interesting. I'm definately in for updates.

probably not going to do the body, might tub the front, have to see how well the wheels tuck, I've had a lot of buddies run into too much body damage on a full BD. as long as I can lay frame I will be happy.

Going for my version of the Zombie Defense Vehicle. and the way I see it there wont be any puddles in the road I wont be able to get thru bahahaha

Got the bed all tacked out, got the fuel door tacked over, filled a few holes, and started throwing down some body filler...that I may have to pull back out... turns out that stuff has a shelf life and I think mine may be bad.

Well that was confusing. U said a 6.5" bodydrop and now u are saying no bodydrop just laying frame?

the bed is dropped to make room for the frame, new mounts will be made to get it all to line up again, and make space for airtank, relocated fuel tank and what ever else i plan on stickin under there. I may do the cab next year if its just not looking low enough. I was checking to see where the body sits on these Mazda frames and it looks like about 2" stock.
either way I plan on pulling the engine for a rebuild last, if it needs it, thats when I will knock out the cab.

I think u mean u raised the bedfloor. Im assuming the bodylines will still match up therefore u didnt drop the bed.
