Still need to even out the Dip, and add the metal flake and gloss coat

So I got the Weber installed and everything seems to be running well during idle. We for a test drive and it still has no power. It struggles to get up to speed, so I guess it was not crazy vacum leaks causing my issues. Anyone got any Ideas why this thing wont get up and go anymore?

that clear line could be your issue, also could be plugs, ignition could be incorrectly timed. could be bad compression, could be alot of things,

Pull your plugs and check them for fouling. Then check the timing.

The line is left over fuel line for a pressure system, so im sure its not effecting the vacuum. I got new plugs and wires to install today, next comes a compression test and timing. Thanks for the extra input everyone.

So I swapped out the stock alt for a beefier one, and before the carb swap was putting out the correct volts for recharging my batt and running the compressors. Since the swap its only putting out 1/2 what it should be. Any Ideas about this.

That could be a fuse issue. If your alternator doesn't get the "excite" signal form the ignition switch, it won't charge properly.

I wonder if this is my problem. Which fuse Jason?

It would be the meter fuse, but idiot lights and electrical gauges wouldn't work either.
However, if the charge light bulb is burned out or removed, you end up with the same result as a burned fuse.

Interesting. Where are these located? I need to investigate...

Interior fuse panel, and gauge cluster.
You should be able to check the bulb without removing the cluster. With the key on, engine not running, the charge light should be on.
