1993 Mazda B2200 Hi-Tech Redneck

bought the parts for making my c notch today so I'll be building it this weekend and beginning to cut out my bag brackets too. my bag valves are not here yet. so since its a weekend have to make headway in something. oh and all metal I am using is 1/4 inch. yeah it's overkill but I'm not risking someone else's life over what I want.

Oh and 1/4" may not be overkill if you dont have a welder capable of good penentration which would actually make 1/4" more unsafe...

glad I pulled the bed the last guy who had it (tweaker) had wires sitting bare under bed where the idiot spliced in a trailer wire hookup. even if I give him the benefit of the doubt and say he taped it with electrical tape he had spliced 4 wires in the picture and it had fallen off. I would have at least used shrink wrap on it.

OMG my truck has cancer. lol. Nothing a little sand paper and primer can't fix. I'll get pictures of what it looks like tomorrow.

as for my c notch as I was planning it's coming along nicely but I going to wait until Monday and go by my uncle shop and use a band saw. using the sawsall was taking way to long and my chop saw was too and I'm impatient as it is and its cold as crap here. I dulled a good blade cutting that 1/4 wall tube.

look at that nice pretty frame now. oh and since when does painting the axle red make it any cooler.... not for me. I'll paint that crap black too next.

oh and found two more saw blade z71 rims this morning but have to get center caps, tires, and trim the tabs before I can put them on. The tabs I could do right now but I can't afford tires either way so I'll wait.

I sold my z71's. I stuck with some nissan 15's. I think the z71 wheels are over done. where the nissan alums are kinda rare to see on our trucks.
