Made up some two part mounts that worked really well. flat plate bolted to engine mount holes and a gusseted bracket that will be welded to the frame. the holes that match the two are slotted allowing final positioning of motor, they are made from 5/16" thick steel using grade 8 bolts. I will put a solid 1/4 section of rubber between them before tightening down.

That looks really nice and clean. I actually really like the matching block and engine bay color. Keep the updates and pictures coming. Whats your plans for the interior?

Nice work JP! I hope you don't mind, I moved this to the member projects section and changed the title so more people check out your build!

Thanks Baha glad you did. Hope I am doing stuff that can help someone else. It's been a lot of work cutting, grinding, and shaping everything but the engine sits in there not touching anything but the mounts.

Anyone have a suggestion for a radiator that has the outlets in the correct position and will fit the general support area. That is the next step when I hit the junk yard. Need to get a C4 yoke as well for the driveshaft.

I am working on a dash panel to house all the aftermarket gauges. Think I will leave the ac and heat out of it. really opens up the floor area. Have a couple comfortable cloth buckets out of a Cavalier. will build a center console as well.
