the radiator from the 3.8 is almost twice the cooling area of the 2.0 oem unit. I hope it's enough.

Looking good. Nice progress! Are you going to use electric pusher fans on the front of the rad?

got the radiator mounts all made with rubber insulators. have plenty of room to put a set of electric pull fans behind it and still get the grill on the front. want to add a brace mounted to the OEM sway bar mount locations to give an extra bottom support to the radiator and a oil pan protector. wondering what ill effect the truck will have not having a front sway bar. any thoughts? need a C4 trans yoke to weld up my driveshaft. Need to clean the tank and mount it. I'm so anxious to wake this thing up!!!!!!

I ran my 90 with no sway bar links for about a year. I didn't know they were missing until I went to swap wheels.

thanks Chaser. you didn't notice any bad handling or other problems?

do the electric fan setups have to be setup with a thermostat to come on or can I just give them power at ignition to run the whole time the engine runs?

I did not notice a difference. But I didn't exactly drive aggressively at that time. I have since replaced a lot of front end parts. I also have no power steering, skinny front tires, and a light weight 4 banger. Don't know if any of that info helps you.

Yes you can wire the fan to be constant but you will want to run a relay to power it. When I do the Taurus fan swap that is my plan.

Either, but my Spal electric fans are really loud and annoying. I have them wired up to a thermal sensor in the intake manifold, but I also put a kill switch on them in case I want to temporarily shut them off.

I have mine on the thermal sensor, but never thought of the idea of the kill switch.
I had to go with 2 12" pusher fans in front and put the trans cooler behind due to the water pump clearence even with a shorty pump.

I have almost 2" behind the radiator ad a good 4 in front with the grill on. So I'm thinking a taurus pusher up front and maybe an extra cooler behind.
need to bend some cooler lines for the trans and a couple brake lines.
bee looking at wheels for ever trying to decide. I like the simplicity of the 15x8 chevy rally wheels, blue to match the truck. but all the 17 and 18 inch stuff looks so good. show me some picks of what you have
