Makes for a rougher ride.

I did a 3" body lift and cranked up the T bars. The truck was lowered when I got it so I don't know how my splines the previous owner moved the T bars. My passenger side is cranked all the way up, drivers side is about stock location, may be cranked up a little. Like I said though, IDK how many splines they have been re-index. My wheel and tire combo is 235/75R15 on a 15x8 wheel, I am guessing 3.75 back spacing. The tire is almost 29 inches tall. This is about as big as I can run in the front and not worry about rubbing issues when turning. Also any bigger and I think a lower rear axle gear be needed for interstate trips.

How much lift can you get out of the torsion bar without re-indexing the slots? I'm looking to raise mine 1"- 1.5"

You can get 3 or 4 inches but anything over 2 will ride rough. Also over 2 and you start to run into alignment issues. You only have so much adjustment for the alignment. You dont want the front tires to wear out because of being out of spec for the alignment. Look for a rubber stop for the upper control arm. This is your limit for how high the truck can be lifted. My control arms are touching the rubber stops just a little.

Ok cool, sounds like I won't be too far out to get 1-1.5 inches, and then make sure I get front end alignment after.
