I was driving yesterday, and all of a sudden I was resting my foot on the clutch pedal about to shift, and the pedal just sunk to the floor. My clutch was not engaged, though. So I know something is wrong with my clutch, but what parts might be giving me that problem?

Did you check the clutch master cylinder? Sounds like it has a leak.

3 things to check:

1. Clutch master cylinder.
2. Tubing/hose from clutch master to slave cylinder.
3. Slave cylinder.

I'd bet the seal on the slave cylinder blew. Any of these items are easy fixes, though. Good luck, keep us posted.

Likely best to replace both clutch master and clutch slave cylinders (unless there's a leak in the lines, as Dat Dood stated). I've had this happen on mine, and so have others. In the 14 years I've had mine, I've had to replace these parts a few times, so I'd recommend life-time warrantied parts.

Tips.
Bench-bleed the clutch master cylinder before installing.
Use a flare wrench for inital loosentin and final tightening of fittings so they don't round off.
Loosen the line from the clutch slave a little BEFORE unbolting it from the transmission (and the reverse when installing).
Bleed out ALL the old dirty clutch fluid (brake fluid) wheen bleeding so no old fluid remains in the system (don't let the reservoir go dry, keep topping it off as necessary).

I had that problem! Change my cylinders...still spongey, but no more loss of clutch...just brakes >.<

Hey thanks for all the help guys :)

little extra tip.. when you're bleeding out the slave push in on the rod as you close the bleeder.. gets your pedal feel back nice..then if it doesnt feel right than adjust the rod that engages into the clutch master..the aftermarket ones are slightly different from piece to piece..i've done about 40 of them and they are never the same

That piece of advice is especially important for brake master cylinders !!!

Exactly!.. I get alot of " I fixed it myself and it doesn't work now" people coming thru my place and a lot of the time with brakes and hydro clutches its because it is installed and bled right but its way out of adj.
