Sorry typing on an android can get a little frustrating, can't see what I'm typing while typing on this forum
Not a bad guess though.
Slow fuel stop solenoid controls your idle loop in your carb.
There is another one for your main fuel feed.
The one pointing the firewall (rearwards) should be the slow fuel stop solenoid, check to see if this is working.
Turn truck on and off and you'll hear it "click"
If not, then run a "live" wire to the contact and you'll hear it click (or not).
If not, then replace solenoid... well check earth strap connection first (back of block/head probably) and recheck.
If it DOES click when you check it manually and NOT when you use the ignition then check your connections... if they're ok, then it might be computer time.
This is only to do with your dieseling.
Actually..... (lol) check both solenoids (second thought).
Where is everyone else on this one?
Post a picture of your missing part area and/or diagram and they'll come flocking.
Pictures... like shiny things to forum magpies
