There are 4 ports on the top of my fuel tank and I need to know which ones I can cap, which need vented, an which one is the sending port to the carb?

Backstory, did an engine swap and installed an electric inline fuel pump mounted on the frame rail under the cab. I am not using a return line or anything so I just need to know which port to I connect to the fuel pump to send it to the engine.

Here is a picture. There is 2 in the middle and two on the right side. Which one do I use?

From what I remember the largest of the 4 is the supply line. next to that is the return line. In the other area is a line that went to the charcoal canister (these make up the 3 original lines that went from the tank to the engine compartment). The 4th line is a vent line if I remember correctly. For your purposes, I would use the larger line for fuel supply. Cap/plug the other line next to the fuel line. Then use one of the remaining lines to vent the tank.

Perfect. That is the exact response I was looking for. Thank you for your help.

On my rig the 5/16th line is the supply (larger of the two) and the 1/4 inch line is the return (the smaller of the two).

I removed all the emissions equipment during a Weber conversion so I don't have the charcoal canister. I also have an automatic so my setup is different than a 5 sp.

I have removed emissions stuff too. At first I put a weber carb on, but then I decided to do the 302 swap.
There was 3 fuel lines running along the rail on the passenger side. I removed the 2 smaller ones and used the bigger one for my supply line. I put a low pressure inline fuel pump on the inside passenger rail and installed a fuel regulator on the firewall. I also use the stock fuel filter, along with another aftermarket one.

I just needed to know which port was the supply coming from the top of the tank, as I forgot to mark it.

Thanks for the help, fellas!

Where is the fuel filter? I've looked everywhere and I still can't find it

It was a clear/yellowish filter located on the passenger side of the firewall in my truck.

Yep, that's where it is on carbureted trucks with 5-speeds. Automatics used an electric fuel pump so under the truck bed bolted to the frame, I believe.

Automatics use an in-tank electric fuel pump. The fuel filter is external in-line and lives just behind the fuel tank. My current filter has a clear case, I bought that so I could see at a glance if there was any crap getting picked up in the tank because my truck sat for a long time before I bought it.
