Here is a good starting point. It sound confusing but must be right.
My learning experience was just a 4.3 GM Vortec in my B2600 extended cab, you have a lot more bucks to cry over, it sounds like.
You going to put a restrictor in the return line? Some thing has to fill the carb first, then bypass, although with the setup you have, you really need no return line, unless I am missing something here.
