I really want to find an electric power steering setup for the 2000

the b2000 and b2200 power steering will fit im currently piecing one together now for my 86 b2000

That would be kinda like dressing a pig in gold britches ----unless its a show truck then anything goes I guess.I guess u would save some weight but the engineering to get it to work would be a chore.bj

well wouldnt it save a little power from the motor as well?
as well as switching to an electric fan?

A very little bit.

If you spend much time on the highway, you have adequate airflow cooling and the clutch unloads - so your power & fuel savings would be nill on the highway. You'd save a little more than bill in city traffic not he fan side of things.

hmmm. good to know! I dont really drive on the freeways much. hell I only drive 5.4 miles to go to work and back home. mostly thats my daily commute so I dont really spend to much on gas anyhow. lol. Im one of the lucky few I suppose. $40.00 is only getting me about 210miles so I am trying to figure out anyway to get that a little higher. I was told going with electric helps.
