hey grumpy.. the tierod. you just added a hiem joint tna an extention to it.. is that so it clears your frame.. im having that issue now.. need teh tfront lower.. just having clearance problems with the power steering box..


any help would be wicked

yeah, i lowered the outter tie rod pickup point to help the tierod clear the frame and pitman arm when layed out.
i didnt do any measuring to check the effect on bumpsteer, however. the tierods are more level now, but the tierod and the beam swing in such different arcs, i am not sure how much of an effect the change will have on the toe change during travel. figured it cant be any worse than heatin and bending the rod as i have seen done in the past, or notchin it either....both of those are a lil scary to me.
