BBQ CANCELLED!!!!

That's what happens when you try to organize a BBQ. Just hanging out doesn't cost shit, even if it's just 30 some odd bucks (that can be split up by who shows). I still don't get why this is cancelled.

because like 20 people replied to me and about 5 people told me they were bring something and i asked and asked an asked and no one said anything so i said forget it. Im not going to drive an hour and a half or so to go to the park and cook and clean and pay 30 bucks for the pavillion for some people to come eat my food and go home! thats not a bbq. no one wanted to participate! its not like i invited people to my house or something. im just organizing ALL the responsibilities of the ENTIRE meet should not fall on me. What more could those people want? valet parking and curbside service? how about a hot towel when they are done swimming? NO!!!

So meets at the beach first then prolly off to wowaks for some food! we are meeting the same time same place and you and your g/f are more than welcome to come but there will be no bbq at the park.

So I guess it's not going to happen now? Sorry to hear that, Tiff. It's a shame that the majority of the meets happen like this. You remember how my meet went. Not one Ranger person showed up. When I get back I'll make a point to go up to Deland and say hi while I'm visiting family in Eustis. Deal? Once again, sorry this didn't happen. I know how much time, effort, and stress you put into it.

The famous Deland, huh? haha. I had some friends that owned the skating rink in Deland, we would stay the night there and screw around and then head to the beach in the moring...when do you get back?

So wait, the meet is still happening, but the BBQ is not?

I could care less about the BBQ part, I just want to hang out with some fellow Ranger people.

I'll be back in Tampa the first week of August. Can't really say what day though.
