need help with engine size

of course. Man I got out there and looked everywhere again. My engine doesn't even have that tab. It's a friggin joke. I dont know what to do. How do I put a pic of my engine on here?

On all the g63b's and g54b's I've seen the engine code is not on "tab" like that(I realize thats an older G52 2.0), but a part of the block that has been machined flat.. But it is in the same general area of where his is, just look a bit lower towards the middle/bottom of the block for a flat machined plane where it looks like they could stamp and engine code into


EDIT: uploaded pic of where to find engine code. This is my 4g63t eclipse block. I highlighted where the engine code is. This is almost the exact same block as a g63b so the engine code is in the exact same place. You can see where it is in relation to the water pump so you can locate is easier.

4g54 2.6 is a timing chain motor and will not have any plastic covering in the front of the engine as for the 2.0 g63b has a timing belt and will have black plastic cover in the front to hide the belt.

if what (iammotorsports) is true than I have a 2.0. If not than idk because I cannot find one friggin code on anything. What a joke. Somebody is effin with me man. lol

The only thing I miss from my old motor was the ability to put 87 octane. lol. So whats the verdict?

It's a 2.0. A very strong 2/0. I didn't realize how much stronger it was than my old mazda. Now I'm having trouble because the tailights wont turn on.
