Hey guys....I have'nt been on lately. I honestly have'nt been driving my truck to often. Ever since I cut the springs it's just such a horryble ride it actually makes me so angry. I was wondering do the lowering springs that they make for the d50 trucks help at all? Is it less bouncy or crummy? and what are some other things I can do in order to have a smoother ride? I dont want to bag it just yet so that is out of the option at this point. If anything I would rather drive it every now and than and bag it in the future. Please any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

how many coils did you cut off...I do believe aim sells lowering springs there like 90 bucks

get drop spindles. that will help out alot it will lower your truck 2 inches without changing the spring travel. so you could put those on and use a taller spring and it will ride better. i had cut springs but mine were slammed and i hated the ride too but i baged mine and now it rides nice and smooth.

I cut like 3 or 4 off. Actually I think 3 1/2. Yea mine are pretty slammed as well. Ok but if I get the lowering springs and spindles and toxic shocks all around would it be worth it? would it ride pretty nice or still be bouncy? Or maybe just get new stock springs and cut one coil plus lowering spindle? idk. Anybody done any of these? I'm actually selling my truck because I'm moving but If I can find a way to make it feel like I'm on coilovers than that would be awesome. I want a smooth ride because I live in portland oregon and am moving all the way to friggin north carolina. I dont want to bag it just yet though.

Bump!!!

I was also wondering if I just bought the toxic shocks for the front and lowering springs what the ride quality would be. Anybody ever do this?

What is AIMS website? I want to take a look at those lowering springs.

Toxic Shocks are probably the worst drop shock in the industry and have a horribly stiff ride. Doetsch Nitro Slammers are #1 in my opinion. I sell tons of them and everybody seems to love the ride. I can also get the Chassis Tech/ Aim components for you as well. shoot me an email to for the fastest reply.

So guy's please if you could answer this question. I moved to North carolina and left my truck in oregon. I might need to go get it and It's a cross country trip. I have cut springs. I want to get actuall lowering springs so I can align it and get is new tires for the front.

MY QUESTIONS:
Do I need aftermarket shocks when I get lowering springs? (Keep in mind that I'm going cross country)(Necessary?)

Where can I get some good lowering springs for my 87 DODGE RAM 50? (Mitsu springs dont fit)

belltech front 2.5 inch drop springs with belltech nitro drop shock and 2 inch drop spindles in the front and belltech 3 inch drop blocks and 2 inch drop leafs with gabreil air shocks in the rear. got to cut the bump stops and notch the frame but rides like a caddy, handles like a lotus. and a little ebay.
