So the top of the bed is done, I still want to frame some stuff underneath. I also threw in some extra support for the rear frame to try and eliminate any flex.

Son, where the hell do you live, n do you perform all the work urself??!!! i will ship my truck off tomorrow! LOL

I am in AZ. Yes, I did almost every single thing on it myself. Let me know when you will be dropping your truck off with $10,000.

you charged 10,000 for all the work you did on this truck?

Did I charge him $10k for labor? No. Does he have much more than $10K into the truck? Yes. After wheels, tires, hydraulics, misc parts... it adds up.
Just quickly... $1,500 wheels and tires, $2,300 hydraulics, $700 batteries, $1,000 stock truck, $600 hiem joints, $450 5 lug conversion, $250 tailgate skin, $270 spindles, $150 new front bumper, $300 driveshaft, $200 brake lines...
this is just stuff off the top of my head and it adds up to $7,720.
That doesn't include any materials for the build, or any of my labor. Plus there is so much little stuff that goes into a build like this that adds up really quickly. Think of all the sheet metal, frame metal, 4 link, a-arms, nuts and bolts... the list goes on.

oh i know how stuff adds up thats why its taking me forever to bag mine. i thought you got 10k for labor i was gona say i need to quit my job and start bagging trucks for a living! you do do some bad ass work though.

I am not saying what I charged him for labor. He is a good buddy of mine. Lets just say he got a good deal. Honestly though... I would not hesitate to tell someone $10k in just labor for what I have done to this truck. I have had the truck for 5 months with about 2 weeks of off time total, and some weekends. I work on it all day long most days. So just figure I have 250 hours into it. That is $40 an hour without figuring the water jetted parts and bushings and heims.

Hey man, a little off topic, but congrats bro. Both on getting married this last weekend, and being featured in Street Trucks Dec issue. Nice Mazda bro.. You and I DEFFFF need to talk.. lol. Good thing we don't live but 20 mins from each other, lol.

Again, congrats.
