has any 1 ever herd of an electric turbo? an if they make any more power or if they make it worse

They are BS, they don't work. Its a gimmick

EDIT: There is actually a company that makes an electric turbo that actually DOES work, unlike all that crap you see on ebay, but it is a pretty penny and I'm not sure of the companys name anymore

i can see them working at low rpm but i dont see them working at high i dont think the can put out that much volume. i got a tuurbo an a electric turbo but they both would be a project to hook up. i got a turbo from an audi thats water cooled but with out making a new header how could i hook it up? i thot about putting it under my bed maybe? any ideas

Yea you could do a remote mount and mount it under the bed, that's the only way you can do it without making a manifold.

i thot about tapping into the heater core lines to get the cooling to it an what passage do u tap into for the oil?
droppedmitsu   +1y
One of the ports on where the oil filter mounts I think?

i thot the was 1 on the back of the head like right on the corner but it just opens up to a head bolt i think

You can use either spot, the one from the oil filter housing is what mitsubishi uses on its turbo cars from the factory. I reccommend using that one. Youll also need a remote oil scavange pump to pull the oil back to the pan. For that price you may as well just have a manifold made for it. Your looking at about the same amount of money spent.

FYI, turbo eclipses and such DO NOT use the port by the oil filter stock, they use the spot on the back pass. corner of the head. This is where they come stock and this is where I have my braided oil line running for my 4g63t also.

And as sleeps said might as well build/have a manifold built for it, it will come out about the same either way. Only reason most vehicles that get/have a remote turbo setup built for them is because of space issues in engine bay, and you dont have any with a 2.4.

that is true i would be pretty easy to make a man for that motor but thot i would try something diff an maybe not have to run a after cooler if it was under the bed
