ok,i got some acura tsx rims(17x7)and they will not clear a nut on top of my upper contol arms. i know some of you guys have put 17's and bigger rims on your yotas and i am wondering what am i doing wrong or what am i not doing right to get these to fit? the nut is rubbing against the inner most part of the inside of the rim and i am clueless. pictures can be provided if my description is vague.also these are going on a 91 pickup at stock height.
any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance

pictures would be a little more helpful....i have 17's on my 88 and there were no problems, just bolted right on...the onlything i can think of is the offset might not be right.

pics will be coming soon and i am not too sure bout the offset but it just some stock 04 tsx rims. shouldn't be under 40+. i thought they would just bolt right up too. but it wasn't that easy. thanks though

their offset may be +35 i believe. but either way they should bolt up, you would just have a hard time tucking..i would think

the offset of the wheel is the only thing i can think of

sorry for the huge pics. i don't know how to resize them yet. but i was thinking the offset too but come on they are stock rims!!!!!!!!!!!
if i was to lower my yota would that make a difference in how my upper control arm would sit. i plan to lower it by this weekend or sometime next week if i get off my lazy ass. and phatboislim i seen you around on import atlanta

Is your wheel bolted on in those pictures? If so, I dont see how its rubbing because the stock 14s dont hit that. And that is the top of the balljoint BTW.

But, gt some drop spindles and it wont hit anymore. Or get some different wheels.

no i put teh stock rims back on for now and sorry i'm noob ball joint, duuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

so i would need some drop spindles? if i were to mess with my torsion bars it wouldn't solve the problem?
