find out what offset the wheels are. cause i had 17x7.5's on my yota with no spindles and it never hit that bolt.

that ball joint looks really huge...the ones in my 88 are no where near being that tall...you could get an aftermarket ball joint for that truck that smaller maybe...i dunno if the ball joints are different from the 84-88 model and the 89-94. just a thought....its cheaper than spindles

thats what my ball joint looks like and there stock. I'm guessing it's the back space, can ya take a pic of the back of the rim

I have the same balljoints on my truck. They're off an 89, and they're about that size.

it has to be solved easier than new spindles, although having them would be nice.

Run as small a spacer as you can up front and you should be fine..at least to have them on there to roll around.

I had this problem with my truck also,look on the bottom of the control arm,there are 2 bolt heads that stick down,cut them down and this should go away,could be wrong but it did the same thing to my 17's
