depends on where you are...everywhere i go i arm my alarm so if it something trips it weather it be the warning alarm beep or the actual siren going off, it pages my remote. that and i dont really let it out of my vision. im always near by.

in other words i wont drive it to the movies (if i do ill go to the 'bathroom and check on it'), concerts, anyplace where im gonna have to leave it unattended for a period of time. lol.

if i do bag my truck, i'll use the killswitch more when i leave it for a period of time

you can also get switch boxes with locks in them that kills the power to the switches so if its layed out and the box is locked...the trucks not getting off the ground unless they have extra wire and open access to your valves and a battery. i would rather replace a sterio than the whole truck.

My Toyota is my Daily so I dont have to drive my other 2 cars my Corolla and my 510

That switch box sounds like a good idea. How hard would it be to put one in? and i'd rather replace my stereo than my whole truck lol.

they arent hard at all....ive seen them from AVS for like 130 bucks or something like that. it hooks up like a normal box would only it has a lock at the one end to turn the box off and on. but ive only seen them in 7 switch switch boxes...not sure if there was one with 9. i got a 7 switch in mytruck now without a lock, but im thinking about going to a 9 and if i can find it with a lock.

Dude, suicide doors have the 9 switch with lock for 129.00 thats how much i paid for mine. I love that box those things are Marine proof.

You can get an EAI box for like $80.

the mini is my daily, but if im working on it, i drive the 4runner...
