Anybody know the laws in Northern VA concerning lowered trucks. I will be moving to the Fairfax area this spring. I want to lower my truck more when I get there, and then bag it some time in the near future. I would appreciate any info you guys can give me.

well ive heard that VA is real bad on customized cars and trucks. but i dont know first hand.

yea dude Va sucks for custom cars and trucks. is the truck your daily? i strongly advise getting a daily if you don't already have one. oh another thing to keep in mind NOVA has emissions test as well. you must pass the emissions if you want to drive your car. if you have anymore questions let me know

VA SUUUUUUUUCKS!!! ( no offense low4life)

i lived in kentucky, and everyone from VA used to come into our shop and talk about " I wish we could get away with doing that!!"

they are strict as SHIT on EVERYTHING!! --- ride height, tire load ratings, radar detectors are illeagle - tint restrictions, jeesus!

good luck akbri!

what are these too low laws you speak of? lol. yeah dude ky, they dont give a shit about what is done to your ride here...i roll low all the time like 1" off the ground right next to cops and no body says anything...even get to roll with the solid clear tail.

i like emmision laws, yeah sure they suck to take your car in every two years to get it done but big deal. one thing about being here in ky is that you see alot of buckets rollin around that have no buisness running. at least with CA, you dont have to see shit smokin like a chimminey driving down the road all the time....oh and people love to straight pipe stock trucks out here so the exhaust pops really loud and sounds like an asshole driving down the road, smog laws dont allow people to do shit like that either which is a plus.

va sucks for lowness. state troopers give most of the hassle, city/county's wont bother you too much.
