thats what i did, 4 ga. from the battery up front to my insulated terminal thing and i just hooked all my wiring up to it as if it were the battery. works like a charm. make sure to put a fuse in the line though. i believe i used 100 amp for the power for my whole truck.

i grounded from my battery to the frame with 4 ga. but when i ran the grounds to the block and shit i just used 8 ga. from the frame to my block and body.

it works like a charm, nothing dims at all and it runs perfect even when my compressors and everything is on.

why do u need a fuse to the batery? incase the positive cable gets damaged and shorts out to the frame or something? seems like your giving yourself anotherr pain in the ass if it blows

yeah basically. with the battery right above the gas tank and with that relocation terminal thing in the engine bay..it just screws together so i felt that if anything were to go wrong with the wiring such as coming off and grounding out sending sparks flyin, i would rather deal with a broken fuse then a truck burning to the ground.

ive also heard of people using dist. blocks for their power. i just ran two separate cables for my amp and my truck power...both 4 ga. the dist. blocks ive found take a 4ga. at one end and at the other end come out with two 8 ga. which i felt were too small to power my whole truck. the amp 8 ga. would work fine but i didnt think it was enough to run the whole truck off of.

so does anyone have pix of all the shit u take out to remove the power steering?

if you remove the powersteering, dont you need a basic steering box or will the same one work?

just take out everything thats connected to the powersteering pump and resivoir. thats if your removing it. if you relocating stuff, just put it where it fits and looks good.

If you remove the power steering you need a manual steering box. Otherwise, start doing pushups.
