my rollpan on my yota decided to snag a deer that was in the middle of the road dead an i didnt see it cuz it was really dark until it was goin under my front bumper. it missed the front bumper but it caught my rollpan. this happened on my way to tex mex09

well im debating on either puttin a rollpan back on or should i put a bumper on it?

If it's your daily, I vote shortened bumper!

bumpers are so nice and worry free, i used to always drag mine going in and out of stupid angled driveways. Rollpans sure do look nice tho, you could do what I am doing and build a safety bumper that is only about a 1/4" lower than your rollpan so that you cant see the bumper but it hits first instead of ripping off your rollpan

I like both, but if it was my daily then I say bumper!

It's not really done that often, but I was saying it would look good if you shortened the factory bumper to bring it closer to the body because it sticks out so far. I think if it was only maybe 3" it would look good!

I hit a dead deer at night in my lowered Civic. Jumped the car up in the air! Turns out, when I told the insurance company that the deer was laying down in the road and that all I needed was a radiator (cracked), they informed me that they only covered deer that were ALIVE! Go figure. If that SOB was alive, I would've totaled my car!
I agree with BAHA, I would trim it down and tuck it in real close to the body (but you have to remember that if you DO actually hit anything with it, it will dent your truck), but it looks good. Otherwise, I like the roll pans combined with Supra taillights.
