Its a 87 Roadster It will be bagged, and Dragged hard every time its driven when I am finished.

It has a 91 Model dash that will be fully fiberglassed, And it has Tilt steering!

Are you wanting to put the factory tilt stteering in an 84-88?? Simple, swap the colums out.

Well Its not 100% finished But basicaly, you need to find the dash, and the dash support bar thats behind he dash. ( the one that everything bolts too) First after you have everything you change the support bar, but you need to do a little modification first. ok the bars bolt in the same on the drivers side. On the passenger side you have to swap the ends. The easiest way to do that is cut the end off the old bar about 3- 4 inches away from the mounting point. Now on the newer bar cut it off about 2-3 inches away from the mount, Now you can slide the old end into the newer bar. Go ahead and bolt it in the truck on both sides and tack the end into place. Now just unbolt it and finish welding it up.

After you have welded it and put it back in the truck the dash will now bolt in perfect, I still have to find a way to mount the dash to the firewall up close to the windshield, But it shouldn't be that hard. This is really not a hard thing to do, But you will have to completly tear down two dashes, so its time consuming. And Keep in mind I am not using the air- conditioning so If you are it may be a little more involved.

Yes and no, I used the factory colum fom the 91, same truck I got the dash out of. The steering shaft on the tilt colum was about 3/4 of an inch to short so I had to extend it out.

If anyone is serious about doing this swap, I can post pics up of everything. just let me know.
