im not body dropping it. im just going to lay frame. i dont see why people dont think this can be done. there are 89-95 toyotas body dropped on 20s so why cant i lay frame on 22s. in the picture above the suspension is cycled for a 29" tire. 255/30/22s are 28"

thats gonna be sick dude!! i heard of people doing that with an s-10 and having problems with stearing it. i dont know if you'll run into that same problem or not...i could only imagine. cant wait to see it with the rims on...ill bet its gonna tuck hard.

22's will work without a b/d as long as they are a 22x8.5 or smaller with a 40 mm back space. 22 fit on my truck but i b/d mine so 20's it was. the only problem with what you have is your not going to have enough lift in the front with that set up

good luck with getting it to work, i have faith, ive seen some of yer work on s10 forum with the doored second gens. are you going to z the frame?

yea im gonna z the frame, and thanks for having faith..... alot of people prolly think im some punk thats never touched a welder. i mounted my york 210 tonight but forgot the camera. i also worked on the upper control arm for more lift. some one said earlier that i wouldnt get enough lift, well right now im getting 12" of lift. that untucks a 28" tall tire by like 3" is that enough lift? lol

Dude, Nigel, you need to body drop it in a weekend like your S10 and just cowl the fenders and hood in one to clear the tires. Lol.

And I know you can do it, I don't doubt you at all. I need to make my bag setup more like yours, I want more lift. I can't untuck my tire all the way. Lol. I got 9" lift at 90 lbs. Havent aired it up more than that, regulator wont let it happen.

bodydrop it and cut the front fenders, slpitting it into half almost and extend them out a couple of inches making the front end slightly longer but you'll have more room for those tires to tuck under a stock hood. you'll have to add a little more length to the hood and fenders though....ive seen it done that way to an s-10 bd on 22's...
