yea, once you stretch them out so big whe holes won't grow back up so they can either cut them off or cut and sew them back together. thats why I haven't gone that far. mine have been 6's since I was like 15 and I'm almost 19 now. Another thing that sucks about gauging out your ears is if you're like me and don't take them out and wash them regularly, when you turn the jewelry or take it out it smells like something died. But it's funny when you're on a long road trip and do it and if someone is with you they'll gag, lol.

lol i wash mine daily... cuz the bigger u go, the worse they will smell if u dont wash em.

HAHAHA when i first got it done,it was a 10 and i said i was gunna stay at a 10 and not gauge it,and i jus kept going bigger lol,right now im supposed to stay at a 0 lol but i already have shit to go to a 00 hahahah so pretty sure ill be at a 00 in a lil bit lol,my tongue is still a baby lol only a 14g(ya i kno very small hahah) ill be gauging that soon

i ended up taking mine out cut the barbell was rubbing on the inside of my lower teeth causing the gums to get irritated ...
stretching the septum hurts like hell too... so does stretching your nipples.. lol.. when i stretched my labret and medusa(like labret, but top lip) that wasnt that bad.. tongue just hurts every fuckn time.. lol

o! well ima rethink the tongue then,a buddy of mine has a 8gauge in his tongue and he sed it didnt swell,but then again he sed when i 1st got it done that it wont swell n mine did lol,
