Thanks! He uses some tip on his spray gun and holds the gun far away to give it the textured look. It might not be the name brand por15, not sure. But the shit is hard as a rock and shiny as fuck. Its not a normal bedliner/undercoating type stuff.
Hmm, thats weird. Could just be the way he sprays it. But Por 15 generally comes out damn smooth and glossier than that looks in the pics.
Yeah, the pics dont really show how shiny the stuff is. The texture breaks up the shine so you cant tell how glossy it is over all.
Im cutting and pasting this from another forum...so if the wording is funny...deal with it. LOL
Couple pics of the truck...somewhat put together with some pieces that were left in the shop...lol Teh hood came out great, looks awesome in person with the older style grill...
Couple more..
Air'd up in the back
Air'd up..
The hood was just set there, its not lined up or bolted on or anything..
I like the grille. The hood looks huge. I think it would have looked better stock, or with a small hole. It looks too blunt in the front.
that joint is nice, and im mad that aired up this fag is still lower than me on my block setup lol good job mang
Yeah, the hood looks less "extreme" in life. Its about 1.5" taller than stock. Shane, the guy with the almost doored red and black jimmy on 20/22s built it. The work on the hood looks fuggin great. He actually made it taller than need be, Chase has already lowered the motor mouns...but its good for any extra clearnace than might be needed if and when the 22re gets pulled in favor of something bigger.
Im not a big fan of holes through the hood, just not my style.
looks good man that grill looks good too lol
