Trophies wouldn't be a bad thing I guess. It feels good to get one in front of a big crowd. You guys are definitely welcome up here! We got an extra room with a two seperate beds. We just stocked up and bought like 75 pieces of steak.

damm thats close to your driveshaft
twisted minis   +1y
Yea it is. Lol. Thats only the pinch though. And at the balancer is just over 1/8" clearance. The actual tank itself is over an inch away. I doubt the driveshaft will ever make contact.

Thanks man. My goal was originally to build the truck for under $4,000. I'll be around $5,000 into it with a new motor and paint. So I was close. That includes the cost of the vehicle.

Well, its been slow lately. I've been waiting on parts for the front end. Finally got the new drop spindles in the other day. Still waiting on some brake calipers, but I can do without those until I have to drive it. Also waiting on the cross drilled and slotted rotors I ordered for the 88 front setup.

Had to change the angle of the lower arms to suit the new spindles. They change a lot.

So I should be able to start my upper arms pretty soon. Once I determine the exact length.
Also, since its been slow I decided to machine an aluminum dipstick top that matches the shift knob I made. I used a two part epoxy to attatch it.

Yes, my motor is dirty as hell, but that will soon change. Still waiting on some chrome stuff for the engine bay, that may show up today.
