Smog guys are picky about what that says.

damn that sux.. if they are like the smog ppl out here, and 10er will fix that prob.. and if u dont pass smog, and 20 fixes that problem.. lol

Its about $400-$500 for an illegal smog out here. They're tougher on the laws here. I used to have a friend that did it for us, he got his license pulled when he got caught. He was out fo work for a while. CA sucks.

really? i dunno they never said anything about mine. i didnt have any sticker on it. the 20-r and the 22r is stamped into the side of the block so i dont see why what ever the sticker says should matter....but i guess if they are doing the smog they can require whatever they want...but then again there is always other smog shops.

if you get a sticker, make sure it wont discolor from the heat.

It depends on the shop. Some of them will fail you on the visual if ANY sticker is lost or damaged. Some are more lenient.
